About Us

Our beautiful CKC miniature schnauzers are raised on a small rural farm near the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario. We have cleared walking trails on our 80 acres and our schnauzers and us spend many an afternoon out enjoying the boreal forest. Our schnauzers also share their lives with our beautiful Arab horse named Biscuit.
All of our schnauzers are born and raised in our home. They go from our house to yours, there is no kennelling involved. They are socialized from day one, started on potty training and get the one-on-one attention they need to be loving pets.
They are part of our family!

The name Ravenswatch comes from having a nesting pair of ravens who raise their young in an old pine tree in our yard. When their babies get big enough, they sit on the edge of the nest and watch everything that goes on in our yard, especially the antics of our schnauzers.

Please, no matter what breed you are interested in DO NOT BUY FROM A PET SHOP!! A lot of the puppies come from puppy mills where the dogs are kept in small cages, mistreated, sick and only there to produce litter after litter. These businesses do not support any breeds, it is only for profit off the backs of innocent animals. I know that it is hard to pass a cute little puppy, especially one of the breed that you like. Many times these puppies end up with serious health issues or untrainable behaviour. The only way that these immoral businesses are going to be shut down is not to support them. Research the dog you are interested in and talk to different breeders; any reputable one will gladly answer any questions you may have.
