Piper is a beautiful CKC black and silver female with a wonderful quiet personality...if there is a ball and empty water bottle Piper is the one who is playing with it. She loves to go on walks and she loves to cuddle, but her favourite is to chew her boney. Harley and Piper both have extremely laid back personalities that, we are sure, will be passed on to their pups.

Our Dogs make wonderful companions who are obedient and quick to learn. They are always very devoted and affectionate towards their
families and especially love kids. Their most important need is to be involved as part of the family, walks, holidays, naps or car rides they are the
first ones ready to go. You will find that you will have a well rounded, content and happy schnauzer if you follow this advice.
If you decide to take your dog or puppy to classes (and I recommend that you do) you will find that he will excel in his training
because of his alert and eager to please personality.
Goals: Our number one goal is to produce healthy puppies who are as close to the breed standard as we can get. We
have chosen our breeding dogs with great care and have considered not only their blood lines but the temperament
of the animals as well. We want your dog to be able to easily fit into your life style no matter whether you are a jogger or an
avid movie watcher.
Microchipping: All of our puppies are microchipped, this gives you extra protection if your dog is ever lost or stolen. We use an ISO microchip from EIDAP animal
registry which can be read by veterinarians, animal shelters and dog pounds. The EIDAP is available by internet 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing the necessary info
needed to re-unite a lost dog with their owner.(website http://registry.eidap.com)
Size and Colour: Our dogs have long thick coats and we produce all three colours allowed by the CKC,
black, salt and pepper and black and silver. We strive to achieve the show standards of between 12-14 inches tall (measured from the shoulder blade)
the weight of the dog can be from 14- 20 lbs depending on their size and bone structure. From time to time we will have a
toy sized puppy who will finish under the 12" height requirement. They still have a registered pedigree and have the looks and personality of a schnauzer, you wouldn't
be able to show them in the ring.
The Coat: The great thing about miniature schnauzers is that they do not shed. It is a wonderful feature of the breed because you do not have hair collecting on
your furniture, clothing, or floors. I have more than a few dogs that live in the house with us and I do not need to do double duty with the vacuum cleaner! I think that's great!!!
They are the perfect pet for people who have allergy problems as they often can tolerate a schnauzer when they are allergic to other types of dogs.
Grooming: In order to keep your dog handsome and in the best possible condition they should be groomed every six to eight weeks. You must also brush your dog every few
days to keep their fur healthy and mat free especially the longer coat on the legs and underbelly. Most people have their dog clipped at the groomers but if you wish to show your dog you must have the coat stripped. This method involves pulling out the hair by hand and makes their coat coarse and multi-layered.
