We breed beautiful black, CKC, non shedding, miniature schnauzer puppies from our family kennel in Northwestern Ontario. All our dogs live with us and the puppies are born and raised in our house. Our dogs are included in our every day activities. The puppies are given hands-on care from the day they are born to the day that they arrive at your home. The advantages to this is that you get a happy puppy who loves and trusts people and who will settle into his new home much more quickly.

Twitch

"TWITCH is smart as a whip. He will sit, stand, lie down, shake a paw. He is very sensitive and his feelings get hurt very easily. For example if you raise your voice he is crushed. Probably something you do not want to hear..... he sleeps with us...... and loves to cuddle and play in the morning. When he was taking his obedience training he was the only one who did not get distracted along the way when we went in another room and called him to come. He was like a heat seeking missile. I bought him a tunnel at Ikea and he loves to run through it. When we play hide and seek he moves right to the middle so he is least visible. I am so happy we got him before our son moved out. When our son comes home, Twitch is so happy and excited to see him. He is very laid back like Harley. I can lift him the air, on his back, and he remains perfectly relaxed. All in all we LOVE him!
What can I say about you Barb? When I saw your dogs and the home that they were raised in I knew that they would have great temperaments! and I was right. Your dogs are born into a loving environment so I think that shapes their personalities. There was nothing difficult about the purchase of Twitch other than the brief moment that I looked at your face in the rear view mirror. A moment of sadness as you watched me drive away with one of your babies."

About the breed
The Miniature Schnauzer is a small breed of dog of German origin with a very solid, and muscular body. He was first exhibited as a separate breed in the early 1900's. He is in the terrier group and was bred to attack all types of vermin. He was particularly useful in controlling the rat and mouse population on farms. My dogs always give the chipmunks and squirrels a run for their money that dare to stray too close to the house. He is not an aggressive dog although he will stand up for himself and does make an excellent watch dog. His good temperament, good health and handsome appearance make him perfect for the role as your family pet.
